Proper care before your facial treatment is necessary to achieve the best results. Please review the following instructions and refer to them as necessary.
Weeks before:
- If you take blood thinners, aspirin or any other medication that causes you to easily bleed, please contact us. If you are under a physician’s care and need to discontinue your medication for a few days, always ask your physician prior to each facial appointment.
- If you are planning to receive Botox, make sure that you wait at least 4 weeks before receiving your facial treatment.
- If an active or extreme breakout occurs before the facial treatment, please contact us. Wait 6 months following oral isotretinoin use.
48 hours before:
- Do not apply Retin-A products 48 hours prior to your facial treatment.
24 hours before:
- Do not apply auto-immune products 24 hours prior to your facial treatment.
- Do not have prolonged sun exposure 24 hours prior to your facial treatment. A Micro-needling treatment cannot be administered on sunburnt skin.
On the day:
- Please keep your face clean and do not apply makeup.
