Is Light Therapy suitable for you?

Whilst Light Therapy is a gentle and versatile skincare treatment, there are certain conditions and situations where it might not be suitable. 

Light Therapy is not suitable for people who:

  • Have severe skin conditions.
  • Have Photosensitivity disorders.
  • Have open wounds or skin lesions.
  • Have recently had cosmetic procedures – if you’ve recently had other cosmetic procedures such as chemical peels, laser treatments, or injectables like botox or fillers, your skin needs time to heal before undergoing LED Light Therapy. Allow 2 weeks minimum.
  • Take certain medications – some medications can increase photosensitivity, making your skin more susceptible to adverse effects from light exposure. If you’re on medications that make your skin sensitive to light, contact us before booking.
  • Are pregnant or breastfeeding women.
  • Have severe eye conditions.
  • Have epilepsy.
  • Have severe allergies or skin sensitivities.
  • Have recent sunburn or sun exposure.
